Notebook
Jot anything down — convert to words when you are ready.
What Notebook is for
Notebook is a lightweight capture area for words, phrases, sentences, reminders, or links you encounter while reading, watching, or listening. Notes are not flashcards and are not reviewed — they stay in your list until you delete them.
Open Notebook from the sidebar (under Add).
Add a note
- Open Notebook (or click Add note on Home).
- Click Add note.
- Enter your text. Add an optional Title.
- Click Add note to save.
Long or multi-line notes may get an AI-generated title in the background.
Use the search field on the Notebook page to filter your notes by keyword.
Convert to a word
When you are ready, click Convert on a note. This opens the Add Word form with the note body pre-filled. Complete any missing fields and save.
Saving the word does not remove the note. Delete the note separately when you no longer need it.
Notebook vs Reader
Notebook is for ad-hoc captures — no document required. The Reader is for working through a specific Passage: you select excerpts in text and save words with real context attached.
